New concert dates:
21 march - Moscow
23 march - Helsinki (first performance in Finland)

Helsinki is not far from where I live (relatively speaking), but still more expensive than London or Berlin. Go figure! Plus, the ticket price is about the same as the Zimmer one (1000 NOK or 100 Euro due to crappy Norwegian exchange rates at the moment). So I think I'll have to pass, unfortunately.I am extremely serious. -

It sucks. Finland is pretty much the worst pick in the Nordic (except Iceland, obviously). If he would come to any of the countries in Scandinavia I would easily go. Why can't he just come over here while he is here? Sigh, I hope there are still more dates to come. Denmark or Norway would have been enough. -

Yes, I immediately thought of you guys when I found the info. As I just posted on the FSM board, here are the prices for Helsinki: 69,50€ / 89,50€ / 99,50€ / 119,50€

It's bad, but not as bad as Paris in may: 95,00€ / 128,00€ / 161,00€ / 194,00€

Well done to Ennio on a well deserved win. As for Tarantino, what a fucking plonker he is!On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

I'm going to assume a plonker is not a very nice thing to say. Otherwise I would've read what a jolly nice chap he is for winning Ennio his first ever Golden Globe."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

He was quite drunk, like most everyone else in the audience that night (both regular people and stars). I'm not sure that's an excuse, but he referred to 'movie composers' as a 'ghetto' (jokingly, perhaps) and erroneously stated that this was Morricone's first award for an individual film in the US.
To be honest, I found Jamie Foxx in the introduction far more annoying than Tarantino.I am extremely serious. -

Ennio's statement:
“When Quentin first asked me to write the score for his new western, I said no. But Mr. Tarantino is an astute man, and he left the screenplay for my wife Maria to read. He had spotted who is the boss in our house. Maria realized instantly what a brilliant screenplay Quentin had written for The Hateful Eight, and she told me in no uncertain terms that I had to do it. I am so happy that I did. To work with such a brilliant young director at my age gives me great pleasure. He was just one year old when I wrote my first score for Sergio Leone for A Fistful of Dollars. It is also a deep honour and very humbling to receive this prestigious award nomination for doing the profession I love. I receive it on behalf of myself, Quentin Tarantino, The Weinstein Company, and the whole cast and crew of this remarkable film. And of course I receive it on behalf of my clever wife Maria.” -
