I thought it would be nice if we shared our photography with each other. Post anything (as long as you took it) - funny photos, photos from holidays, or if you're a budding photographer, perhaps some serious work! - but to make it interesting, perhaps we should limit ourselves to one post, per member, per day?
I'll start the ball rolling with this one. I am not a good photographer, but some times through sheer chance I happen to take a good photograph, and I love this one!

Great thread!
Here's a pic I took on a boat trip through Chicago last Summer. I'll probably be posting a few pics from this holiday as I got a lot of good ones (all by chance!) -

Great pictures there, very arty!
Unfortunately most of our pictures are on a server I'm not connected to right now, but I'll see what I can find. -

Beautiful hair (but then I always love dark hair).
Great topic, James, and great starter photo!

This is a photo of a flock of bean geese (Anser fabalis middendorffii, oohishikui in Japanese) I took on New Year's Holiday. They're foraging in rice fields (no rice plants there, because it's winter). My family and I took lots of photos in crazy way...Labels are for cans, not people. - Anthony Rapp -

No (which means I can't do the "Nice beaver!" joke) - it's an otter. -

Excellent moment you captured there! Did it start running away just after the photo, or it didn't see you? It looks like it's just minding its own business, relaxing in the sun.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Damn the work's computer set-up. I'm barred from viewing any photo site, so I'll have to wait until I get home to see all these pictures.

She was just enjoying the sun. A few minutes later, several other otters came out of the water and joined her, but my pictures of that are not very good. -
