The tent "city" is amazing.
It's also fun to spot climbers on the Khumbu Icefall and the tents higher up on the mountain. And the ladders, too! -

Is it one day walking from the base camp on the right to the one in the middle? It seems rather close... I can't find people outside these tent areas though.

I think there is some incredible stuff in there. That snake is a wonder, and the island that is part of the Faroer is like a paradise, Beachy Head Cliff in the clouds is spectacular, ... But I absolutely love the sleeping whales and the oasis in Libya.Kazoo -

I did some hiking today with my parents. It was more of a stroll that got prolonged as it went. We went along the shore of lake Lister which is about 10km north of my place. As you can see there it is a dam, so it's an artifical lake. The dam was built in 1909. The attaching lake Biggesee is an artificial lake, too, but it's dam was completed only in 1965.
