"The two men who visit Kate represent the law firm "Agostini and Norton", which is an anagram for "attaining donor son"."
I just knew that had to be an anagram for something when I heard it.
Ooh, and the compass Richard gave to Locke. The same compass he offered to Locke as a child in Cabin Fever? -

Wow! Great to read this Anthony!
Thank you!
About You have said about your opinion of the show, I can understand your point Anthony. But I don't share it.
I mean, Ok. There are too much "fantasy" here, the first season was much more verosimil. A great mix of Drama and Fantasy, Now it's all too much over the top, but I it's a SCI FiCTION show.
THe characters are well devoloped, the writters has a plan and the direcction is very good. ( i can't say that of 24, wich is really mediocre after the first season, even if it's entertaining ). Of couse, if you stop to think you can see the weak points but it's a really, really smart show for all what they have to deal with.
I think the main argument is everyone in this life is part of a giant clock. If one of us is out of this clock, then it doesn't work. (that's why they have to back to the island, because they are not suposed to be dead, and they are changing the destiny being in the real world).
Lost, even his his weak points (obviously), is a Clock too. Even single character is a piece of this great machine. You can watch the first 2 seasons and now a lot of things make sense watching this fifht.
It's my favourite show ever. -

Aha! Makes sense now. Great!
And the fact that Richard said he wouldn't recognise Locke next time they met = we're going back to Richard's childhood? (considering he's know Locke his entire life?)
Edit: And after second viewing, I'm still with my original opinion that this season is all over the place. -
- CommentTimeJan 24th 2009
What happen with the compass???
It's obvious the Compass is an object that Richard associate with the "Leader"
When he visit Locke, He is a child. He had still hair, for God Sake! So in his 40 years, Richard can't recognise him.
But how I said, I'm happy enought about how the writters manages to deal with so many characters, plors, theories, etc... It has mistakes, of course, but at least the writters are smart people. -

Im rewatching Lost season 1 ...."juliet is lost", I mean "the island theme" is heard a lot with diferent arrengements.
Why Giacchino did not realeased this theme before? Why we had to wait for season 3 cd?
It's obviously one of the most importants motifs of the show. I want more of it! Dammed! -

TOTALLY agree. But, as a friend of mine has wisely told me talking about it, the first two episodes are a leap in the dark (or maybe a leap of faith?), I mean, it is the only way out to reach all the expectations Lost has created, even if it means to shake all the logic that still remains in the show after 4 seasons.Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

But the themes for Michael and Walt, Sawyer and Anna Lucia have never been released either. (But if the second disc of season 3 was a true complete then we would have Sawyer's..)
I'm not too fussed about these, but I really want the Freighter, Oceanic Six, Orchid and the season 4 extension of Locke's theme. -
- CommentTimeJan 25th 2009
Yeah. I want a realease of Season 4 too, specially for this Freighter theme.
But...I want more The Island's Motif!!!! Specially the arrengements of the First Season!
Anyway, Season 3 is probably the most Musical season of the show. -

For general "making of" stuff I'd say season 3, but for music, definitely season 4! -

Yeah the more synthy versions of the island theme are pretty cool. There's a version on the season 1 extras dvd menu which you could probably rip.
And in terms of sheer fun, season 3 is the best musically. One piece I wish was on the soundtrack (I found a fault!) is the Island/Ben theme cue from The Man Behind The Curtain.

Then I will buy Season 3. I will go tomorrow... (Why I don't have any season in dvd? Dammed).
Because, I want to rewatch season 3, because it has one of the most trhilling finales in the history, because it has : hatches, the island, the others, our dear frieends, musically shinning...
And you say the extras are great! So... -

really? Do you like more season 3 than 1?
I remember it started very slow, and a little bit annoying, and then after the 6 first episodes the season...
I have to revisit season three. And that's a good moment to buy it. -

I really enjoyed season 3. Lots of people seemed to have a problem with episodes focusing strictly on Jack, Kate and Sawyer one week and then the beach camp the other. I had no issues with that though and I always think one of the best scenarios to have is the good-guys being totally screwed and one step away from death.
After the whole thing on the Hydra is done though there are a lot of filler episodes. I still really, really enjoy the whole block of eps from Tricia Tanaka Is Dead right through to One Of Us, and then a few episodes down the line we have the incredible Man Behind the Curtain. Then roll on the epic season finale! -

Well, I was dissapointed with the first episodes because his ryhtm was way to slow (Half of an episode was sawyer trying to get a cookie ), and because the others looked more like the A-team bad guys, than mans of science.
But from Ben's surgery, the season is a rollercoaster. I even enjoy the black humour of "exposé". -

Wow...
I watched the extras, I hoped a little bit more interviews or comentaries, but It was great anyway!(Is there an special acces to the first and the last monitor of the menu ?)
About the season... Season 3 was the first season i had to wait every week to watch it ( i watched the previous seasons on DVD because i was introduced late to this show). So I remember how frustrating was the slowly start.... Now without have to wait Im really enjoying it. It has the drama of the first and the SCI Fiction of the second. Perhaps is the most enjoyable of the fourth seasons!
What I really love is, Now being in the fifht season, you really can rewatch the previous seasons and understand much more the dialogues. it's amazing how writters improves the rewatch with his mastermind scritp. BRAVO!
Special Mention: the comentaries of episode 1 are the funniest comentaries I ever heard (read)!!! Damon is a really, really " cachondo" (Marselus, help me with the translations here :P). it's great to see smart people, laughting of himself ) -

Episode 3 was pretty damn good. It still feels a bit messy, but the twist where we find out Widmore was a Hostile was great. Plus, the first new motif of the season! The Four Trombones is updated...!
Edit: By the way, I doubt it's relevant, but was the woman who was looking for Faraday on the computer the same one that let Hurley onto the plane in Exodus. -

Yes, one of the best moments of the season. Now we need to know how/why did he left the island, and why does he wanna go back/find it so badly.
Anyway, messy, very messy. All this time travel thing is totally out of control, even if they say they have it all tied up.Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

My guests:
US milatary went to the island because they discovered the propieties of the Island. Us Military is the futur Dharma Iniciative. Then they find the native and they started a war....The Bomb "judghead" is in some Dharma station.
One of the natives is widmore wich is in love with Ellie. Widmore frustrated because he wants more power is destarred out of the island. Widmore and Ellie has a son out of the Island ...His name? Daniel Faraday.
Now for some reason, Ellie (Ms Hakwins) is helping Ben and not Widmore.
End.
Good Episode, but weak direction and teleplay. (no Damon, no Bender)
