Crumbs! It's not even 6.00 pm and I've had two glasses of Port, two Jamesons whiskies and four cans of Carlsberg
That's what happens when a succession of friends come visiting.
On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Everyone's left now so I'll take it easy for a few hours before meeting up later at the pub.

Nope. I'm expecting a stampede of family and family friends in an hour or so... I'm preparing myself for the onslaught. -

I was just wondering if anyone will be here on the board tomorrow? I'll be here until about 4.00 pm playing some favourite tunes before we head to Mel's Mother's and siblings for Christmas dinner
I usually do the cooking here and I really enjoy cooking but it'll still be nice to have this year off.On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Here we go again! Is anyone else excited? I'm looking forward to finally getting the Afrika soundtrack and being able to open my Indy box set!
I put up some decorations today and it's finally starting to feel more like Christmas. My soundtracks are even being guarded by a penguin. -

Christmas can be a slightly bittersweet time, but I'll try to be cheery! I might listen to Home Alone 1 & 2 a bit soon.

I know exactly what you mean about bitterswewt. This year, my parents had a lot of problems regarding to their health, so I enter this time of the year slightly more concerned and depressed than usual.
I think listening to Rombi´s Merry Christmas didn´t help either.
And I know that Home Alone would just be a desaster, those kid´s choir tracks would kill me right now, so I stick to something else entirely at the moment.
Tiomkin. Yeah. Go, Pharao, go...
The Voyage of the Damned Suite from the newest Doctor Who album is a very nice thing. I think I´ll run in in continuos repeat if nothing else helps. -

It's my first Christmas away from home.
Not that it really feels very festive here, with temperatures well up in the 30s.
Oh well, bring out the booze and I'll consider myself pretty happy.

I need a booze detox! For three weeks while I'm at home, no alcomohol for me. Just lots of bike rides with my husky... who runs along side me... he doesn't ride a bike too... although that would be awesome... -
