Miya wroteBtw, I've been a mac user since I was 4 or 5. I'm brainwashed by Steve Jobs.
Why can't women just admit they use Macs because they look more fashionable?
I first bought a Mac simply because I liked the design, so yes still for vain reasons - though I didn't care about being fashionable. I bought another one because I got so used to the first one and didn't want to change operating systems. -

Norwegian Websites Declare War on IE 6
http://blog.wired.com/business/2009/02/ … websi.html
(even Microsoft supports it)
I'm gonna join this war and will put up a banner on top for all IE6 users. Since IE8 is to be released soon, I think it's time IE6 is no longer supported, since it's over 7 years old now, and hasn't been updated much.Kazoo -

Anyone else using GOOGLE CHROME? i found that it's screamingly fast and very light on the system, but absence of mozilla-quality addons is a huge downpoint at the moment.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Fact and fact. Now that v2 is out (in the stable build series), it has received some important updates which i think it lacked. Like going full screen (F11), or the middle-mouse-button-page-scrolling. There are talks of bringing plugins to Chrome, but you have to wonder if it ain't the overload of plugins that make Firefox so slow.
Anyhow, FF is coming with a new scripting enging afaik in the next release (3.5) that works along the same principle as Chrome concerning pre-compiling javascript in order to run faster. I'm curious what the results will be.What do you hear? Nothing but the rain... -

I see no reason to switch from Firefox... -

I downloaded Google Chrome earlier and I've been giving it a try out and comparing it with Opera.
Chrome does seem to be fine for someone who's not too bothered about all the peripheral things that some people like - plug-ins and the like.
It does seem to be faster than Opera. The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

It is faster than Opera, and faster than firefox when the latter is loaded with add-ons. But for someone like me who DOES use certain firefox addons, chrome is poor for the time being. For someone who simply wants to browse the need careless and without problems, but most importantly-fast, Chrome is perfect.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

I'm still enjoying using Google Chrome...
This coupled with the upgrading of my ISP package to "up to 8Mbps*" (from up to 2Mbps) has speeded up browsing a bit.
*In the real world this equates to ~3-3.5Mbps.The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn
