Very, very, very, very, very simple: ADD-ONS.
Indeed; what sets it apart everything else out there. Plus its safer and faster; Period.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Ye, in my opinion, anything is better than IE.
I'm still amazed by the speed of Chrome. It's become my browser for email (gmail) and google docs. It just sits there all day long and practically uses no memory. Bit too lightweight for me as a programmer for intensive working/surfing, though, and the bookmarks functionality is seriously underdeveloped.
As for BROWSING AND SURFING ONLY, CHROME IS STILL THE FASTEST OUT THERELove Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Well I can testify Firefox is indeed better and faster, and every bit as compatible as IE is. I'm sticking with it.
Shame you uninstalled it bud. I guess this topic can go on a bit longer then. Let the war continue.
In the end there can be only one winner. Now whose side you wanna be on?
perhaps I'll just use it as a second internet explorer, but I don't see what the big fuzz is all about
of course I know zilch of all its capabilities, so who knows if someone explains it to me, it will be betterwaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! Where's my nut? arrrghhhhhhh -

I'm still pleased with Chrome - for just browsing.
The only downside with Chrome (definitely) is that the slowest site to load is this one. This site is consistently slow to load for me.The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

Odd indeed; works just fine for me, i am using it as we speak.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Same here: in fact: to visit my most-visited sites (like this one and a few news and other score sites), I consistently use Chrome for its speed (like I'm doing at this very minute).
The "icon bookmark" function makes it lightning fast (mainly because I think the sites in your Chrome browser are already being cached as soon as you open Chrome).
So I'm not sure why MT would load slowly?
Unless it's not one of the nine "icon bookmarks"? (And hence not cached)'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

I think that graph isn't all that correct. I bet there are far less people watching porn with IE... do you know how dangerous that that is with all the spyware and viruses? Shrinking that pie slice should up the amount of 'downloading another browser' to 75% at least! What do you hear? Nothing but the rain... -

Do you know how many people think IE8 is the real thing and when you explain them why you should shift to firefox or chrome, they call you "weird" and "anti-microsoft"?Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

I don't even want to think about installing firefox on my parents' computer. I'd have to hear over and over again about how their internet explorer looks so different all of a sudden. Man, were they upset when Microsoft updated IE7 to IE8... "Oh noes! My favourites are gone!" - No, they're over there...What do you hear? Nothing but the rain... -
