    What will you be doing exactly mate? That's pure luck btw, PRODIGY rule!


    Nothing lucky about it, it was only a matter of time before Prodigy played Glastonbury again. They've played the festival numerous times and I caught the end of their set a few years ago but this time I'm determined to see the whole gig.

    p.s. This'll be the 11th year I've worked there ( not counting the years that it didn't happen ).


    And what will you be doing exactly there? (it's ok if you don't want to say smile )


    Ooops, sorry, yeah, I'll be doing backstage security on the jazz stage, directing vehicles ( this'll be the bands and they're tour buses, lorries full of stage gear, officials etc ), and checking that anyone who comes backstage has the right passes ( in other words NO members of the public ), of course, if Martijn had made it he would enter as my guest sad Dealing with the public makes the time fly by and it is BRILLIANT fun, you honestly wouldn't believe some of the "characters" you have to deal with cool wink


    Pardon me for asking, but surely being a member of staff at a festival kind of, you know...limits the amount of booze you consume?


    And raises the amount of hot female groupies that want to get...backstage and need to pass from the..security first?

    If you'd be able to swing the former, I'm packing NOW! (But I fear you mean the latter smile )


    The latter is correct sad Unfortunately 'enter' as my guest to most of the backstage crews where we have hospitality bars, secret gigs etc.
