At the end of the day you can post attractive and less attractive photos, airbrushed, photoshopped or au naturel of ANYONE more or less famous all the time, but really: she, as a type (or at any rate how she comes across in the media -not only on film or TV, but in interviews or portraits as well- ) simply doesn't appeal to me.

There's quite literally nothing about her I find in the least bit interesting, hence attractive.
So no matter how sexy the photograph -and yes, they are sexy- there's still very little movement in the fo'c'sle...

Because you seem to like ladies who are not what you might call conventionally attractive to a normal man, even one from continental Europe (if any such man can truly be considered normal). And because I wanted to post the story in this thread because I thought it was nice.

I went to see Premier League Darts last week in Cardiff. A very surreal experience. Your man Barney looked like he was all set for a big win but then threw it all away. Everyone seemed to be drunk (including me, I'm sad to report).

The next day I walked up a hill in the Brecon Beacons and experienced unbeleivable gales and driving rain. I was NOT dressed appropriately (it was hot and cloudless when we set off from the bottom!)

I am posting this here because I don't know where else to post it. (I suppose I could have created a third ALAN MENKEN thread, but decided against.)

The highest peak - Pen Y Fan. I hadn't realised that from the car park you have to walk up and then down another hill which is almost as high before you even start on Pen Y Fan itself.

I can now reveal to all that jeans are NOT a good thing to wear if it's raining heavily and you're an hour away from the nearest shelter of any kind. On the other hand, gloves ARE a good thing to wear when the temperature suddenly drops by about 10C thanks to the extreme windchill. If only I had taken these two facts into account before setting off, I wouldn't have ended up with ringing wet underpants for the rest of the day, but may also have not lost the feeling in my fingers for a worrying length of time.

I thought it would be Pen-Y-Fan ( for others here it's not far from Bristol ), I walked it a dew times some years ago as training for the Himalaya, it's a good steep walk and on a nice day incredibly picturesque with streams and waterfalls.

You walked up in jeans.....oh dear.

Don't forget to take your diving bell helmet and boots to Kenya will you!?

It would be more helpful if you could speak fluent Hippopotomous, they kill more people in Africa than anything else and you never know when you might have to beg for mercy in Hippo-speak!?

Failing that, make sure you're guide is more fluent in Hippo-speak than he is at running fast.

Don't worry, Kenyans are notoriously poor at running long distances.

See, it's at this point I'd generally suggest changing honeymoon destinations to, say, the Isle of Wight, but as you have slagged off my favourite Bond film AND written slanderous poetry against me, I wish you a most enjoyable stay, and remember: the bad malaria wrap mosquitoes get is hugely overrated, and once you get to know them, crocodiles are actually really very cuddly.

Just returned from a Jean Michel Jarre concert here in Norway. Very nice, although the people I were with made us arrive half an hour into the concert! A bit annoying when you've paid a fortune for the ticket (600 NOK / $92). But we got one and a half hour still and it was nice enough, although I didn't get the goosebumps moments I got when I saw him at the same venue in 1997.
    I am extremely serious.
