I liked some tracks from the first movie's OST... like 2 of them, and liked the idea of some of the tracks in the 3rd one, but couldn't get past the fact that they were too cheap to orchestrate it. I might buy this instead... but I dunno if it's worth it.

Didn't know Steve Jablonsky was scoring GANGSTER SQUAD. Bad choice, if you ask me. But, hey, the whole digital look of the film already ruins this project, so hiring Steve for the score, equally artificial in style, can't ruin it too much.

Either way, the trailer did show some impressive acting from Sean Penn and Gosling is always interesting, so it might be a fun project. But I'm not expecting anything more than 'fun'.

The score will be released on Varese Sarabande, or so the final frame of the trailer says.
