Continuing from Scorereviews and the very first topic for the Off Topic thread
Now, just need to come up with a new question? On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -
- CommentTimeNov 28th 2007
First of all, could you repeat your answer for the last true and false question on the old forum because I missed it.
Secondly a relatively quick question:
Chile was the last country to join the allies in world war 2, declaring war on the 11th april 1945? Not really helping much but better late than never I suppose!!
True or False
You decide...If in doubt, let the wookie win -

Kumbyah
Didn't post that often, but have suddenly flown into a hive of activity, partly due to the new site, and also partly due to the fact that I am sat up at uni doing coursework
Will post answer for this tomorrow, as am off to Ireland for a couple of days!! and I know you lot cannot wait!If in doubt, let the wookie win -

Hmmmm. Chili.
Long, small country.
Partly blinded by the Andes.
And the Great Ocean doesn't help much either.
Valid reasons to not know what was going on that time.

Ahhhhhhhh Kumbyah
So, is Tim your REAL name?
The answer to the last True / False was both. It was TRUE that Vesna fell over 33,000 feet and survived but it was FALSE that she only sustained a minor injury. Vesna made a full recovery.
Tap in Vesna Vulovic on Google and you'll find plenty of info on her.
As Martijn said on the old board, it was nice to go out with EVERYONE being correct
As to your question?

Though I'd bump this again, how was your trip to Ireland Tim ( not me ) ?On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Fistly yes my name is Tim, and I did think about being tim (bath) but consdiering timmer is bristol I went for this option.
In relation to my question it is (apparently) False! The last nation was mongolia, who were closely tied in with soviet politics, but never officially declared war on germany, was invaded by japan in the earlier part of the war but made peace, and then only re-entered the war on august 9th 1945 ( the day of the scond atomic bombing, over nagasaki) to coincide with the soviet invasion of manchuria. But they at least had a direct affect (unlike the chileans).
So while there was "always one", in this case marie-lise was the one and only!! top effort, and if you want to post a question...go right ahead.
As for ireland, I followed the motto "when in rome...." and have basically been abusing my body for the last 4 days.If in doubt, let the wookie win -

The Sherpa people from the Mt. Everest region of the Nepal Himalaya have long been renowned for their excellence in high altitude mountaineering and have accompanied all major expeditions in the region since Nepal opened it's borders to foreigners in the early 1950's.
Sherpa's are catagorised by how much they can carry and are paid accordingly, so a Sherpa capable of carrying 20 kilos will be a 20 kilo sherpa, 30, 40, 50, 60 etc etc....the more weight they can comfortably carry the more they get paid.
TRUE or FALSE ?
