    Is public transportation really that bad? I as planning a trip with a friend to Norway. Where do you live?


    I live in Oslo. Well, the public transportation ain't that bad, I guess, but when you compare the price against the service it is (a single ticket is 20 kroner, appr. $4). And especially if you compare it against the swift systems in, let's say, Barcelona, Prague or Paris.

    But hey, as long as you're aware of our steep prices on everything, I'm sure you'll have a fine time in Norway. Where are you planning to go?

    Hmm. The end of September I think. We decided it fairly late though, a couple of days before we went. There was a reason I didn't ask you but I don't know anymore why. And I feel ashmaed for the fact that I actually didn't do. Thomas?

    Btw, can we do a Christmassy (christmas_reindeer) meeting in Belgium/Netherlands perhaps? Nice café, snow, chocolate milk with port, hugs, coca-cola christmasman ...

    Rotterdam is about as warm, cozy and inviting as Brasilia around 1960...

    I would suggest Delft, or The Hague.

    Never been to Delft so that could be nice.
    Antwerpen is nice too!

    Rotterdam cozy? The only good thing about Rotterdam was Erasmus. And he moved away too, I wonder why that was?
