Hmm.... that IS bad-ass... but I prefer the previous one. I'm quite interested in what the differences between the normal and limited editions are... -

Me too. I had great expectations on the score, but after reading all the interviews posted and all the issue about the one (or two) note/s theme for the joker, I don´t know what to tihnk anymore...Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

Well there's a 8 minutes suite for the joker, Elegant music from JNH, the orchestrations have been done with more time...
At least it will be better than the first one. -

That´s true, "Batman Begins" was orchestrated in two days according to Zimmer (but I don´t know anymore if all what Zimmer says in the interviews is totally true or he is performing the Zimmer character).

Can one note be a theme actually? Isn't it more a signal then?
Besides the possibility of a signal of weakness that is.Kazoo -

does anyone think India trade company harp motif could be converted in " Lord cutler beckett suite" or "Beckett's death"? -

Er... is that your custom title or is that a track from some expanded version??
BTW I don't like the cover of TDK as much as that of BB... -

Lord Cutler Beckett is the title of unreleased suite.
Beckett's Death is basically the big arrangement of the theme in the first half of I Don't Think Now Is The Best Timehttp://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

This is when Zimmer claims that before he came to Hollywood always the same composers wrote most scores. -

Well I was basically talking about Zimmer saying big sentences that are good for a headline or to show himself off but not necessarily 100% true (you know, "I composed the themes for POTC in two nights and one day", "we did the orchestrations of Batman Begins in two days", etc etc).Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

And now he's changed the formula so that several composers write one score. -

FUC_ING GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
ZIMMER'S LONGEST REALEASE SCORE EVER!
with this, and his new orchestration he is doing what he always was trying to avoid: being a more traditional composer with traditional realeases.

Ah
Seriously, I'ts quite obvious Zimmer is trying to correct his mistakes with both franchises: Pirates and batman.
With pirates he did a reboot with a more orchestral sound and with new themes. And with batman, for what we are listening in the interviews, Zimmer and Howard are working in a diferent way. Specially taking more time with the orchestrations (Now I understand because Myotis sound like a synthetic crap).
So let's hope , this new batman ( I know you don't need a diferent thing , because you love batman begins score) will be a reboot like in AWE.
In the other hand, Zimmer always wanted edited 55 or 60 minutes long cd's. So a 73 minutes one is a really unexpected move, as much as his more traditional orchestrations in AWE. -
