Richard Robbins got dumped on a James Ivory film?! WOW!! That's like Spielberg rejecting a Williams score.
A butterfly thinks therefore I am
  8. Well, the film got pushed back from like 2005, so I imagine it's more of a studio interference thing.

Looks like, from the trailer disney is trying to do a film like the stuff George Fenton is scoring; this should be a very important chance in Bacon's new-found career. Here is the trailer:

On top of scoring "Exit Speed", Doug Besterman's IMDB Resume (made by himself) lists "Out Of Step". The film's official website also credits him.

"Cool" wasn't my primary reaction.... let's stick with a cautious "interesting"...

Can't wait, 2 of my favorite artists (although MASSIVE ATTACK is a group, you know what i mean) of all time together in the same project, that's going to be good!
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

  19. No, it's a silly joke I started back when I saw his name for additional score for "King Kong" (he's still in J.N.H.'s camp). His name is Chris P. Bacon.

    LMAO!

Aww, why do I get the feeling that we're just a bunch of late-bloomers in a long-running and torturous series of schoolyard taunts and jeers? Poor guy.

Seems you might be right. Kevin Kliesch has just been added as orchestrator on IMDb, so Shearmur seems to be the likely choice (although Chris Beck could be a possibility too considering his relationship with the studio).
