No, really, I am. Not even if it was announced that John Williams was scoring The Hobbit and Hans Zimmer and all his friends have been accidentally sealed in a nuclear bunker without any means of ever getting out - not even THAT - would be as exciting as hearing that Angel is scoring Gaia. And - I can barely contain my excitement as I type this - Kim Richmond is scoring an untitled film about the world-famous, erm, person (I guess) Jackie Robinson.

It's funny... because I read a lot of your posts and you seem to almost hate everything you hear.

Justin, if you hate the music in Total Recall and Krull then the chances of you liking the music in "Untitled Jackie Robinson Project" are not too great.
  11. He loves CHIPs though, remember. The Silvestri masterpiece you know.

Probably also adores the score to Delta Force. Another masterpiece.

I wondered who Dante would use. Disappointing choice.

    "V" (the new series)
    Normand Corbeil
Source: none. Just listed on IMDB recently. Corbeil's site is quite uninformative (it's been re-designed). But he has worked with Yves before, so it seems like a natural step.

Interestingly, Variety lists Marco Beltrami as the composer of the show.
    http://www.variety.com/article/VR111800 … 3&cs=1
Also, some interesting choices for the new fall TV shows can be found on the page (new shows for Blake Neely, Bear McCreary, John Swihart, Stephen Endelman, Graeme Revell, Michael Suby among others).
  18. Months back I reported on the replacement score of "The City of Your Final Destination". Thanks to Variety.com, we can now get an idea of the replacement score:

Ironically, the score by Uruguayan composer Jorge Drexler ("The Motorcycle Diaries") is probably the most generic contribution.

(Maury Yeston recorded a score [and song(s)] for "Nine" earlier this year, so that's a replacement score too, and I am checking into "V")
