    Finally got around to sampling it on Spotify. Gorgeous album; looking forward to delving into it further. Some of it reminded me of VALLEY OF SHADOWS, although not on that level.
    I am extremely serious.

    That's a good point of reference. However, like said in the review, I think the electronics suffer from slightly less musical appeal. I understand his reasoning, long ago, but especially now to be able to tweak everything in his studio, using his own methods, soloists, not being dependent on others, like fuller sections of an orchestra.

    You will like it. Naturally, I have been listening to it a lot, for several months now, and while there is nothing entirely new, there are two elements of the album that I find very gratifying: tying in with the'' old and new'' approach and an entirely new meditative sound.

    I will publish a review a week before the official release date.

    In fact, his cat Hector is credited as a special assistant. I do not blame him; animals trigger emotions that are equeal to how humans consider each other family.

    And have you heard it already? I think Europa Centrale was easily one of the best scores of 2024.

    EUROPA CENTRALE? Yes, not only did I hear it, it made my top 10 of 2024, per the Celluloid Tunes thread.

    I was also....FINALLY!....able to find his recent studio album MELANCHOLY, which is an absolute delight and into my top 5 Preisner, probably.
    I am extremely serious.
