I got this disc recently and people who like Delerue and Morricone's lush sound will love this one.
Very good disc and yes, there is a waltz -

So it looks like I missed my chance to buy Oorlogswinter. Amazon and Ebay don't have anything, and SAE is no longer selling it. Does anyone know of anywhere else I might be able to find this score?
I noticed that the 3 disc DVD is for sale on Amazon, and that one includes the score, right? I guess I could buy that...
I also noticed that the film will have a US release soon. I wonder what the chances are of a US release of the score. Anyone know about that? -

The 3 disc dvd has no jewelcase and artwork attached. All I know is that there was one international label that showed interest in releasing the music in 2008. That's it. There's no recent news as far as I know.

I believe I had this on a compilation once, that included selections from three rare Donaggio scores. I remember it only vaguely (since I sold the CD about 14 years ago!), but I seem to remember it as very "classy".I am extremely serious. -

Here is the CD I once owned:

As you can see, the suite from ORDEAL is almost 18 minutes.
Don't know why I sold it. The music was pretty good.I am extremely serious. -

The famous American director Brian de Palma is visiting the studio Gallery No.1.
He is supervising recording of the music to his new thriller entitled Passion. The author of the scores is his long-time collaborator Pino Donaggio. In this project The Czech National Symphony Orchestra is conducted by Natale Messara, with whom both artists have been working since 1976. In that year they delivered the horror film Carrie, based on the novel by Stephen King, with Sissy Spacek in the title role to movie theaters. Other best known Brian De Palma's films include The Untouchables, or Mission: Impossible. Pino Donaggio has scored 186 mostly Italian films.
Seven months ahead. The views and opinions of Ford A. Thaxton are his own and do not necessarily reflect the ones of ANYONE else. -
