Chilly return back to Oslo today, to find the temperature hovering at a pretty frosty -15 C (5 F).

...one advantage however, is that I can now use my balcony as a deep freezer for meat and frozen vegetables (as I do not own one). It's fun living in a country that is also a freezer.I am extremely serious. -

all the snow that the eastern seaboard has gotten is not the case in Minnesota. We have no snow and temps in the low 40's.

Same here. Although there's still snow up in the hills around Oslo, the city centre is pretty much snow-free by now. Sparkling sun, 12 C and almost spring in the air. Very unusual for March in Norway, but I expect winter to make a return soon. It usually does.I am extremely serious. -

Western Germany:
We had 15 degrees C on Friday, snow on Saturday morning, 5C and frozy wind today while sunny and it will be about 12C again tomorrow. Quite a rollercoaster.
