- Comment According to IMDB, Brian Tyler will score The Expendables for Sylvestor Stallone. Does anyone have any other sources confirming this? Plus in a conversation I had with Deane Ogden awhile ago and he claimed that Tyler told him that he is on board for Rambo 5.

Maybe I scared him off :bunny:[/quote] I figure Tyler was way to busy to chat to anyone but he is gracious enough to respond in length to my emails. So far the only two composers I have spoken ...

- discussion topic Terminator 4 - who will score ?
- Comment But McG lied about getting James Cameron's blessing for T4. How do we know for certain that Jonah Nolan was involved in polishing the script? I not going to reward a director who uses deceptive tactics by going to see his film at least not for now.

- Comment Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, its expansion The Shivering Isles by Bethesda Softworks which is in my hometown of Rockville, Maryland. Bioshock by Irrational Games is excellent on either PC or Xbox 360 as well as Call of Duty 4 which is good but short. Just to name a few. Oh and I can't wait for ...

- Comment Tyler's Rambo score in my opinion gets a 4 out of 5 stars. It is far from the brilliance of Goldsmiths music but that is to be expected since Tyler has been scoring since 1996. Good score overall.

- Comment Brian Tyler has morphed into a John Powell/Hans Zimmer sound-alike, hasn't he? But if you go back to scores like Darkness Falls, The Hunted, and Timeline, Tyler followed Goldsmith so faithfully. Beltrami's work on the other hand seems mostly generic and uninteresting.

- Comment Just saw Rambo and I absolutely loved it. It is the best film since First Blood and Brian's score was used quite effectively in the film final print. Also there were a couple of interesting blues songs written and performed by actor Jake La Botz who portrayed one of the mercenaries helping Rambo.
