    The tent "city" is amazing.

    It's also fun to spot climbers on the Khumbu Icefall and the tents higher up on the mountain. And the ladders, too!

    Is it one day walking from the base camp on the right to the one in the middle? It seems rather close... I can't find people outside these tent areas though. spin

    I think there is some incredible stuff in there. That snake is a wonder, and the island that is part of the Faroer is like a paradise, Beachy Head Cliff in the clouds is spectacular, ... But I absolutely love the sleeping whales and the oasis in Libya.

  3. I did some hiking today with my parents. It was more of a stroll that got prolonged as it went. We went along the shore of lake Lister which is about 10km north of my place. As you can see there it is a dam, so it's an artifical lake. The dam was built in 1909. The attaching lake Biggesee is an artificial lake, too, but it's dam was completed only in 1965.
