If I remember correctly ( haven't seen the film for some time ) the vampire Lestat turns on the car radio and the Gun's N' Roses version is playing and then segues into the closing credits. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

NP: GOLDEN GATE (Elliot Goldenthal)
One of the VERY few EG scores that are consistently calm throughout, with some truly mezmerizing soundscapes...sexy jazz sax with an Asian tinge. Love it!I am extremely serious. -

NP: Planet of the Apes, Danny Elfman
Much much better than I remembered. I guess I never gave it enough of a chance.
It does have some good moments and I particularly enjoy the opening titles but I find the album a laborious chore to sit all the way through.
That's exactly how I used to feel. But last night I was latching onto more and more parts of the score that I used to think of as "laborious", too.''The mandate, as well as the benefit, of responsibility is the ability to tell when one can afford to be irresponsible.'' - Me -

The mention of Superman II by someone else has put me in the mood for:
NP: Superman IV - John Williams & Alexander Courage
One of the best of the series. So much fun!''The mandate, as well as the benefit, of responsibility is the ability to tell when one can afford to be irresponsible.'' - Me -

NP: Jail Visit - Strike Teaches Tyrone - Clockers (Terence Blanchard)
Now this is when Blanchard's minimalism becomes very annoying. I think that the main theme (the five notes descending motif) is played like nine times in this cue. Still I like this score -

NP : ROBIN AND MARIAN - John Barry
Gorgeous score and has, IMO, Barry's most gorgeous love theme, a real heartbreaker. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

It's great as well, I intend to play it later this week!"considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

You've made me realize I have no memory at all how this score goes. Your mention of it reminds me it's high time I listen to it again. I'll pop it in next.
But for now, it's:
NP: Once Upon a Time the Revolution, Ennio Morricone
Simply put, I do believe this is my all-time favourite Morricone theme.''The mandate, as well as the benefit, of responsibility is the ability to tell when one can afford to be irresponsible.'' - Me -

Remains of the Day - Richard Robbins
Currently half way through the exquisite novel, the finest I've read in many a year. Wonderful music to accompany my reading. -

Great score. Love Robbins' stuff. Heard he had some health issues awhile back, which is why he didn't score the fine film THE CITY OF YOUR FINAL DESTINATION by James Ivory. Hope he's better now, and will return soon.I am extremely serious. -

I thought the novel was very good but when I heard it would be made into a film I immediately thought it was a bad idea of which I was proved right, it is AWFUL ( a good first half hour though ).
The CD is missing some very fine cues.On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Now playing "Sacrifice" by Lisa Gerrard. What a stunning and mournful piece. This strange video, featuring the piece is quite an experience to behold.

Hehe, that's entirely unintentional. I love bunnies!
I'm happy that you're fine btw, and can return to the normalcy of listening to animated scores.
