I read a study that found excessive drinking results in an increase in broken YouTube links. wink

I had my "out" night on Wednesday, of all days, drinking to four in the morning and wailing out "Bridge Over Troubled Water" at a karaoke place. So I'll stay in and watch a film or something tonight. I think that's best for everyone. smile
    I am extremely serious.

Your Wednesday sounds great. A fine song! (But sadly quite difficult to do well. I've learned over the years which songs have very limited vocal ranges and that ain't one of them.)

True, but my vocal range fits more the musical, "epic" ballad songs like "Circle of Life", "You Raise Me Up", "Anthem" from CHESS, "Bridge Over Troubled Water" etc. I don't do straightforward rock so well, unfortunately (and yes, I realize that's probably opposite of most people). I've been singing for quite a few years, but I don't get much outlet for it these days except for karaoke evenings and such. A bit pathetic, perhaps, especially since large amounts of alchohol are involved, but it beats singing in the shower. smile

    Do you sing too?

I do - but only in the same circumstances as you! Put a couple of drinks in me and I can't stop. I sang "Sweet Caroline" and "New York, New York" at my wedding, with a big band, which was fantastic. Don't suppose I'll get that opportunity again.
