...or it would have been if I'd got there early enough.
I turned up too late and the contest was already full so I ended up watching and talking with friends. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

I played in a quiz last night, not the pop one that I sometimes do but a proper general knowledge quiz, a couple of friends were meant to be joining me but didn't turn up so I did it by myself, every other team had between 4 - 7 players and I was sure I would come last but I actually came 2nd to last which won me a bottle of red wine, they always give a prize for 2nd to last place so that it stops anyone from just throwing in the towel, so to speak, and collecting a nice prize.
My final score was 34 out of 50.On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Out of ten rounds you could play a "joker" on a round of your choice which doubled your points for that round, I played it on a Robert DeNiro round.
Here's the questions, see how you do?
Here's five characters DeNiro has played, name the film they're from.
1. Jake LaMotta
2. Rupert Pupkin
3. Al Capone
4. Vito Corleone
5. Lorenzo Arello

You scored exactly the same ones I did Martijn.
I guessed This Boys Life
which was wrong.
I'll leave it up a bit longer to see if anyone else wants to try.
p.s. You got # 4 wrong, it has to be specifically accurate. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Well, the morning is here (or rather, afternoon) and I've had worse. But maybe that's because I'm still a bit drunk. I'm going to a dinner tonight and will "repair" with some red wine.I am extremely serious. -

That, I didn't know, and neither did the quiz master who would only accept Part II as the answer. I'm going to have to watch that.

I'm staying in tonight keeping company to my granny and we'll watch "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". She used to work to one so she loves the film. It'll be funny doing it since I'll feel like a small little girl again doing fun things with her.Whatever you gaze rests on,do not use your vision, but the eyes of your soul...She knows better... -

I'm going into town for someone's birthday tonight. I don't know the guy that well but there are so many people going, including my own circle of friends, that I don't mind. Just bring on the beer...

Oh, alright. I'll prepare my best Urkel and Spock impressions to lighten the mood.
And I shall speak in loud, stentorian faux-medieval English. People always seem to enjoy that at my Dungeons & Dragons conventions..
Hmmm...you think I should maybe bring my books with Dutch traincar numbers which I've been collecting since 1973 for conversation pieces?'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

I resisted the kebab shops thankfully, so all I have is what's left in my cupboard.
Hungover food shopping day tomorrow though!
