I'm going to a HUGE singles party tonight, with more than 1000 (single) people expected to arrive. This is in correlation with the dating site I just became a member of, pr. a previous thread. I really have NO expectations, as it's really just an experiment for me. But the arrangers sure makes it to be a huge party with their photoshopped version of the place it's held:

Sadly, i am staying in tonight. I have to write and deliver a stupid essay for the Master's, by Monday. It's got to do with the LUCID framework for designing interactive applications as part of a design of an e-shop mainpage using html and javaaaaaaaa damn i am already bored by this crap! It's 21:00 and i've been struggling to make myself actually sit down and start writing my chapters in the essay, and i just now finally managed!

Yeah, there were some of those, of course, but for the most part, there were regular, normal people and even quite a few hot babes. Ages span from about 20 to about 50. No, the disappointment was not so much the people, but the lack of any "event". It was basically just 250 NOK (about 30 Euro) for a regular, everyday disco (albeit with a live band). Plus, of course, I never found a gal to hook up with, which was the whole purpose of the party.
Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.I am extremely serious. -
