    Sparkling sun in Oslo today, and fantastic conditions as Norway continues to haul in gold medals in the skiing world cup up in the hills. Haven't really had a good party in many weeks, so it should be nice with a dinner party tonight - to celebrate Norway's success as well as just having a good time.

    Drunk! I went to a German bierstube-type place and spent a lot of money on expensive import beers (plus taxi home), but I'm still home by 1 o'clock. That's impressive, but necessary - considering that I have a huge birthday party tomorrow.

    Great night, mostly female company but all friends I should add, went back to one of thier houses for more partying and just got back, surprisingly I'm not overly drunk, just merrily happy biggrin

  20. I remember finding an "authentic" Irish bar in a backstreet in Cologne a few years back. Irish bar staff, a clover traced out on the head of my Guinness and some excellent Irish stew.

    Only just got in from work. The three of us who were on tonight actually finished at about half 10 but then we decided to raid the bar and drank wine in the restaurant until about 30 minutes ago. It was brilliant. A rarity, since we had no supervisor on tonight, but a superb way to finish a shift. Anyway, I'm supposed to be back in work in less than seven hours so I had better get some sleep...
