Pah! Such blatant horndog-ism surely doesn't work on delicate southern beauties!

I don't know about delicate shouthern beauties but spoken in the right manner can make a woman feel good!
So what's everybody doing tonight? I'm staying in to watch a movie and have a glass of nice red wine!Whatever you gaze rests on,do not use your vision, but the eyes of your soul...She knows better... -

Just returned from a fantastic weekend at my friend's cabin (even though I can't drink). Tomorrow I'm off for a few days on our family island outside Arendal in the South. The weather is smashing!I am extremely serious. -

I'm still in hometown, and there's a socalled "pleasure festival" going on here, with events related to everything from food to music to sexuality. I don't have a pass myself, but I'll be hitting the town with a friend of mine to soak up the mood.I am extremely serious. -

Nice reading you are having a good time Thor!
I'm at home doing housework drinking some mohito (you can imagine how hmmm successfully I'm doing them
). My best friend is coming tomorrow to spend a few days with me and I'm trying to get the house ready! Lost battle I'm telling you!

Ah....mohito! One of my favourite drinks and one I miss the most (beyond beer and wine). But they're tricky to get right. Hope you know the "secrets".

Work tonight was made slightly more interesting as I met former England midfielder Nobby Stiles, who apparently played in the 1966 World Cup final. He was a guest at a wedding reception we were catering for and I didn't even know who the fuck he was until I finally asked what everyone was quietly muttering about.

Nobby Stiles is a genuine football legend though I wouldn't recognise him if he walked straight into me.On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

I'm a bit hungover today, I entered the pool competition last night, perhaps some of you may have noticed that I haven't posted anything concerning my pool exploits for awhile? There's two reasons for that...
1. I haven't played in the pool competition regularly in recent months.
2. The ones I did participate in got me nowhere, a dip in form had me losing badly.
Anyway, last night I hit the ground running and came away with £75
After that me and a small group of friends went to another pub where a big karaoke thing was going on and that was a great laugh, the whole place was heaving, eventually I came home and put Howard Shore's THE FLY on the CD player, led out on the couch to relax and found myself waking up at 6am fully clothed and with a groggy head.
Time for "breakfast".....when I finally get an appetite.

Is it difficult to attain a sense of stability in that activity, or is it just a matter of what form you're in on that given day?I am extremely serious. -

I'm tempted to say I've no idea whatsoever Thor.
Regardless, I'd say it depends on how good you feel physically and the possitivity of your mental outlook but it's not as simple as that, there are times where I've played brilliantly for days or weeks on end and then something just switches off and you don't know why? From that point you try harder and seem to get worse and more frustrated, it's definitely mostly a mental thing.
Of course, a steadily increasing amount of innebriation will play a big factor too

Already been out. That is, I went to a friend of mine and his girlfriend who lives outside the city. Had a BBQ and chatted throughout the evening. Nice. But when the train arrived back in downtown Oslo, it had started to rain and there were no more trams that late. So I decided to walk home (about 4-5 km), as I didn't want to spend Saturday night fare on a cab. Not the best idea, I was soaked when I came home.I am extremely serious. -

Well, I kinda liked it (far more than WATCHMEN, anyway, which I utterly disliked), but two of the other really disliked it. They thought it was overblown. Then again, they're very pragmatic persons with not the biggest imagination. They hate fantasy and sci fi-oriented material.I am extremely serious. -

Not sure where you'd be going with that argument, but I wouldn't say giving a girl a gun is feminist per se...'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

I think you need to see the film first to see where I'm coming from. It wouldn't be very fruitful to draw out examples from a film you haven't seen. I think it's a very interesting take on the ol' rape-revenge films.I am extremely serious. -

Yeah, valid comment.
But as I am truly loath to spend two hours of my life on anything like this, I guess it's unlikely we can continue this discussion in any meaningful way.

Well, I think that's understandable. One usually doesn't seek out films one has a "bad feeling" for. There's far too much good stuff to see that one has a "good feeling" for.

Another staying-home tonight, but this time alone. I've just made a pizza from scratch, which should be ready in 4 minutes. Will see some film tonight too, but I haven't decided which yet.
Not the most exciting Saturday evening, but that's how my life has become in the last few months.I am extremely serious.
