Look forward to that one! As Thor says, sounds right up Elfman's street.

Very much fitting his style indeed! Much awaiting this one here. In contrast to..other scores.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

Anyone listened to the recently released score of 9 which he scored with Deborah Lurie?

Ah. OK then - I can see it after all!

I have to say I have the opposite reaction to you - I'm very pleased that Desplat is scoring a film which will allow him to write a very different kind of score from those he has been doing of late. I don't really care whether the film's good or not since I'm unlikely to see it!

Yes, I think it looks very promising too. You've got something against puppet films, D?
    I am extremely serious.

Well, i have the impression it's going to sound Julie and Julia-esque or something as fluffy. I prefer the darker, fully-thematic side of Desplat.

Why not wait and see. ( hear )
On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt
  1. Wolfman is so for Elfman, I could only see Beltrami scoring it instead
anway, I hope he has the juice to make it special once again
    waaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! Where's my nut? arrrghhhhhhh
  2. FOX is a Wes Anderson score. Desplat will probably try and tap into the pop music that will be a big (and well-fitting) part of the sound track.

    Unlikely.

Still, if it's like Sleepy Hollow'ish I may be interested.

Gina Zimmitti is credited as orchestra contractor for The Wolfman... I guess score recording is underway or will shortly in L.A.. Universal must be close to finishing this movie, and yet they're saving it for the dumping grounds of next February.

Shame, because the movie looks good. (Unlike recent werewolf crap like Skinwalkers and Cursed.)
