Even though Zoya is a film score it is definitely classical all the way. A subtle sound from Shostakovich. Russian sounding all the way.

this is going to be an interesting series from Delos. Apparently they are re-mastering the now defunct Russian Label material from 1995.

Who here knows this American grunge band, and IMHO, their best album?
Soundgarden - Superunknown
Brilliant melodies, awesome vocals, great guitar riffs, in short all songs that pack a punch and then some... If Nirvana started a genre, these guys perfected the sound of that genre. Since they broke up in 1997 I've been silently hoping for a reunion. God knows I would jump for joy the day that would happen."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

NP: Achtung Baby ~ U2
My favourite U2 album. It got me through my teenage years. Even now I cannot hear One without being captivated emotionally by its meanings and its beauty. If my life had a soundtrach, this album would definately be in it.Whatever you gaze rests on,do not use your vision, but the eyes of your soul...She knows better... -

U2 are playing Glastonbury this year, I'll try and see them but to be honest they are nowhere near as important to me as seeing Stevie Wonder who's playing the Sunday night slot.On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Real jazz but with a strong Barry touch, some top players on the album plus some orchestral stuff, it's incredibly varied Tom and also very melodic. IMO it's one darn fine album. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

As production music goes, it's standard fare, but this was their early days. Works well as background music. -

When I get around to listening to his 2nd symphony I'd like be able to make out a comparison of the 1913 and 1930 revised version, the 1913 has an extra 20 minutes never before heard on Richard Hickox award winning recording with the LSO.On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -
