When going through my mail, I just now saw and realised I was asked to pay the maintenance fee for the room in advance which would 'close' my reservation. It was put rather unclear in the mail I received, as it started off with confirming my payment for the festival and my reservation for the room in Ubeda, while no details were given on how to pay for this fee through paypal :-s.
Scroll down until the bottom of the page.
I think there won't be any problem though. Still, keep me posted.
just got an e-mail from the organisation, it's no problem!

Alright, tomorrow morning I will head to the airport to start my journey towards Seville, where I will meet Bregt and Mario. To those who will attend Ubeda, see you soon in the flesh! To all the others, see you in 2 weeks! -

So, Marcel...are we going to the awards ceremony again this year? Are they padding it out with an absolutely cringe worthy soundtrack related story in Spanish and playing the the overly long logo each time they read off the nominees?
There won't be awards ceremony this year. It's one of the activities that has been cancelled. For good, if you ask me.

Btw, I assume the True Blood concert is in the courtyard?
Edit: No wait, it's in the "Palacio Anguis de Medinilla". That's new. Where's that?
Honestly, I don't know, never been there. I just know it is a smaller place than the Hospital de Santiago (more appropriate for a concert like the True Blood one).

Bregt is only used to glaciers.
Olive trees confuse him.

Anthony, leave your Vuvuzela at home. Patrick Doyle isn't attending the Festival. Agenda conflicts (he is just too busy with Branagh's 'Thor').Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

OMG! Really??!!! That's a shame really.
So close to the festival, such big guests cancelling their attention. Kind of the same happend last year with Joe Hisaishi... I really hope no other big names are jumping off!! -

What?! I spent eight pounds fifty buying two CD's of his!
I noticed he wasn't doing a talk but didn't realise he'd canceled.
So...does anyone want a copy of Harry Potter or Igor dirt cheap? -

If you take out the detonation mechanism and the radioactive material, I'm sure we can talk about it.

I had some green olives filled with red paprika tonight, and my thoughts went out to Bregt, Anthony, Elin and everyone else sitting under an olive tree in the blistering Andalusian heat, still hung over from last night's partying to the Spain victory (and whatever film music event they've been to).
Wish I were there.I am extremely serious.
