well, the way of my deduction was quite weirdIn this first clip I heard few notes from Dragonheart by Randy Edelman but of course It doesn't sound like Edelman so I Fought It Might be the sequel score by Mark McKenzie and when I figured out it's not It my guess went for The Last Sin Eater, the score which I listened only once yet. It have to change after now for sure.
Hehe, sounds like a bit of a detour. Curious you ended up at the right composer and score.
Peter
I told You it was weirdbut anyway I do think those notes from Dragonheart are the consequence of working with This material on Dragonheart: The New Beginning.
Something for a story about a child. Low budget with synths.
Perhaps it's Frank LaLoggia's Lady In White?
If it's a horror then perhaps Children of the Corn by Jonathan Elias?
Or something by Chris Young?
-

David Torn - The order (aka. The sin eater) (trailer)
Actually, 6 days ago, in round 20, I wrongly guessed that BhelPuri's Thomas Newman clip was from this score. BP asked how the score was like, so I uploaded this clip to answer his question. The rest of the album is similar, in that it's rhytmic and very athmospheric, but there isn't really any strong melodic content.
Friggin'. I thought of that David Torn score but after Southall guessed Metheny I saw that Pat had just about 12 films on his roster so I assumed that was right.
Nice googly! -

I guess this game serves as a recommendation of some, maybe less known soundtracks We cherish to others, right? -

That's how I mostly see this game too. Of course it's fun trying to guess, but even when one can't, one ends up a bit wiser about the music that's out there.

Ah! Great score esp. considering that it's an early synth-dominated work. -

Well, seeing as all of a sudden this game has come to a halt and nobody has posted anything for quite some time, I'd like to make my contribution here.
So...
Round 29
I hope it's not too easy or too difficult though. -

Ah, uplifting orchestral waltz, with accordion, piano, cello and violin soli, trumpets, hmmmmmm wonder who could that be!Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Ah, lovely indeed. My least known Eidelman score.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -
- CommentTimeFeb 16th 2010
Funnily enough, I was first convinced it was Alan Menken, and I listened through "Beauty and the beast" thinking that was it. Funny how the mind works sometimes.

Great clip by Eidelman btw. I've never heard a score by the guy I didn't like. Wish he worked more often.
ROUND 30
Clip
The clip is a bit long, but it was too awesome to make it any shorter. This one should be easy, since any self-respecting film score nut should be familiar with it.
