Indeed, but it doesn't show what happens to the people in peril. I wonder if that's a conscious move on the part of the guy shooting the video.
    I am extremely serious.
  1. More horrible than anything Hollywood can come up with.

I can barely imagine what it must've felt for those people to have witnessed that.

It's awful to watch the guys right at the end get caught by the water. Were they trying to rescue someone? I just felt like yelling "Run, instead of just standing there!".

  2. Another thing I noticed were the cars in the middle distance heading into the danger zone.

It reinforced in me the feeling that, in situations like this, there's very little you can do. If it is your time then it is your time.

One of the most powerful videos I've seen of this awful disaster.

Shouldn't her obit be in the RIP In Memoriam thread, not this one about the Japanese tsunami disaster???

    "So sad..."

Seems to sum up my feelings of the news. If this is a topic purely about the awful tsunami then rename the topic and move the offending comments.

More appropriate in the 'In Memorium' thread but also just as appropriate here. I'm really really saddened to hear this and I had no idea she was ill, 63 is very young sad
