It only just occurred to me that the actress who plays Helen (Locke's girlfriend) is the voice of Leela on Futurama! -

I want them in better quality...350mb files are rubbish. At least people are upping episodes of 24 that are 1.2GB each. Now THAT'S TV quality!
Edit: 720p versions are here! -

Not a bad idea, if you can avoid the spoilers. I watched the first 4 seasons all in one month. This is the first time I've ever had to wait..... and I don't like waiting -

I didn't find it hilarious at all. I love time travel as long as it's done properly (which I think they're doing here, but of course that's a matter of taste). Anyway, we pretty well knew that time travel was going to be a major theme in this season, and I can't wait to see where all this takes our heroes. And I absolutely can't wait to find out how the hell Benjamin plans on getting the O6 back to the island!
As for the old woman, you need to rewatch the episode where Desmond does a little time travelling of his own. She plays a major part in that episode.
Lost is back, and I'm officially hooked. Again.Luminous beings are we.. Not this crude matter. -

Well I agree that playing with time travel is a matter of taste, and it is not that I don´t like it (actually is pretty entertaining) but IMO the writers have crossed a very thin red line with the first episode. Anyway I hope (although I have my doubts) everything will make sense at the end, at least in a Lost level.Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

WOW!
What an amazing premiere!
The first episode, is one of the best Lost episodes ever!
I love every single minute of this 82 minutes!
I want to see Jack Bauer Vs Sayd (by the way, Take note how to direct a fight scene, john casar)
Spoiler
I always I fealt in love when you see a place in diferent times. Like back to the future or Day of the tentencle. Tim travel is one of my favourite arguments ever ( no matter how hilarious could be). I love every single movie about time travels!
And Marselus, Do you remember the 2 skeletons of a man and a woman in the first season? Writters said it was an earter egg, a proof they have a plan. And with the time travel this make sense.

Oh for Pete's sake...three words.
Jumped. The. Shark.
Lost has always been unbelievable, but this has just got completely out of hand. What a horrible mish-mash of utterly ridiculous storytelling and theories. Stuff in Lost rarely makes sense, but it at least has some kind of half-believable explanation. This whole time travel thing is just so stupid an unlimited number of Daniel Faraday's couldn't possibly explain it.
The key thing with Lost was having a cool island where lots of strange stuff happened, but now it's just "get on, go for the ride and just accept what we tell you, no matter how unbelievable it might be". We can't even make theories up about time travel as it's so stupid.
We're also getting a lot more LA opposed to the island, so the uniqueness has gone out the window. And it looks like flashbacks/forwards/whatevers are gone completely...again, now there's nothing that separates it from most shows.
I'm going to keep watching as there are only going to be 32 more episodes of Lost ever, but I have a feeling the ending isn't going to be the least bit satisfying. The island was confusing enough, but after adding time travel to the mix it seems the writers are struggling to keep it at an even somewhat believable level.
And what a guest star frenzy these episodes were. I guess most of the main characters are dead anyway so they're a little stuck as it is....but my God....Wickman/Haliwax/Candle, Rose, Bernard, Ethan, Frank, Frogert (first true appearance I suppose out of his one reference and appearance in one mobisode), Hurley's parents, Widmore, Penny, Hawking...the list goes on.
Also what is a shame is how the new and messy nature of the show translates over to the score. I can hardly see any new themes coming from episodes like these first two. Giacchino really does have to take the paint-by-numbers route and simply score scenes with all the various character themes he's written. (Dare I say the number of themes really has screwed him over now?)
I hope things calm down, as this season has started off at a really fast, messy and seemingly uncontrollable pace.

That was Mrs. Hawking who appeared in Flashes Before Your Eyes. She told Desmond he would end up on the island pushing the button, and if he didn't that "we're all dead".
I'll watch them again and hopefully my opinion will improve. Perhaps it was just too much to take in in one go.
