No. I don't think I will know untill I've visited the festival centre at the town square.
By the way, the weather seems to change all the time. Now it's Thursday which gets the heavy rain.
I guess we won't know for sure untill we're actually there.I am extremely serious. -

If you get the press pass, you will be seated in the B sector, knowing the tradition of the last years. Unless something changes and they allow us in the A sector (ie. the better one).http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Don't they use Sector 1, 2, 3 etc.?I am extremely serious. -

Nope. There are two huge sectors. One has numbered seats, the more expensive A sector and the other one has unnumbered seats. That one is cheaper and that's where the press sits. The B sector is *behind* the A sector.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Hmmm....OK. I'll have to ask if I can 'upgrade' when I get there.I am extremely serious. -

Not sure if it'll be allowed sadly. You show the press pass in concert and they simply take you to the B sector. Especially that as far as I know it's all completely sold out.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Thor,
Maybe molossus has still a Karnet Sector A left, You can PM him on SST. If he does you will have a seat in the 7th or 8th row together with all the SST members and our Maciek will be our own special guest at those seatsThat's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne) -

Yes Thor, I second what Sirius said. If you need a karnet for sector A, just let me know.
BTW: Sector B has no numbered seats. It's "first come, first served" rule. -

OK, let me just hear what the press lady says. I've contacted her now. If she says it's not possible to upgrade, and you still have the ticket left in the beginning ot next week, then we'll talk!I am extremely serious. -

And now it's heavy rain throughout the whole period again.I am extremely serious. -

Only a few days left. I really looking forward to this festival. Meeting the artists, agents, promoters, critics and of course the SST and MT members (some are in multiple categories that are mentioned above )
If you have not seen us before in the city are of the film academies, visit us at our SST stand in the lobby of the venue.
See you there! That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne) -

OK, guys, just arrived in Krakow and writing this on a tiny pc in the hotel reception. I didn't bring a pc of my own, so that makes it a little tricky to get hold of me, I realize.
But Bregt and Francis have my telephone number. If you send either of them a PM, they'll give it to you. I don't want to post it here for all to see. This is obviously relevant only for those who are here, I guess.
Hope that is OK with Bregt.
OK, gong out alone to have a beer on the main square here. See you, suckers!I am extremely serious. -

Aside from Thor and me almost missing out the first concert due to us walking in the wrong direction, and almost getting arrested for not having our bus tickets 'validated', nothing much happened really...
Kidding of course
Quick summary; the Perfume concert was amazing (spot on), the Kilar concert very diverse (first half his polish works, second his American) and the Alien/Goldenthal concert very generous in music from the movies they selected (I think each movie had about 20 minutes worth aside from Batman which they used to close it).
The Q&A's and press conferences were very fun, with some cool Goldenthal quotes, which I will definitely put into the montage I'll be doing.
Krakow is an amazing place to visit, we lucked out with great weather and it was great to hook up with other fans. -
