I'm a big fan of the score. I said so when it was released and was frowned at by the vast majority of the good people here. But that didn't bother me.

It felt to me like a succession of grand finales. The lack of dramatic architecture to the album (i.e. - there's no real musical storytelling) was a big problem for me. Having been billed by some who heard it early as the best thing he'd ever written, I was sorely disappointed. Some nice things in it, but it's far from that. -
