NP: Anna & The King - George Fenton
    First listen.
The man definitely has a discernible style!
I can't wait to hear Planet Earth, which I just ordered the other day.

    Well..Im agree with him here:P

    NP:The 3 Musketeers (Kamen)

Overall better than Robin Hood and More personal (Not 30 orchestrations here), but withot the brilliant main theme.

    Good, but not very good.

Why the song is not arranged much more into the score??? it's a great melodY!

NP: Jane Eyre — John Williams

Thanks to a kind member of this forum. In a John Williams kind of mood since yesterday night, even though I've recently been more inclined to revisit my Hans Zimmer's favorite albums, from The Last Samurai to Gladiator (an 18-min suite) and, of course, the more recent Da Vinci Code. Zimmer's music just the way I like it. Still, glad I'm now returning to my all-time favorite composer, with an album that, I feel, I'm going to love.

Playing Before: The Legends of the Fall ~ James Horner
Do I have to explain why?Wonderful score.Very bad of me I haven't listened to it for a long time.

    NP: Beowulf ~ Alan Sivestri

I know!I know! I've been listening to it every day for the past week but it electrifises me!It picks me up and feels me with energy, not to mention the wonderful turns of the melody! And despite the debate I enjoyed the film quite a lot as most of you I think...But don't you dare start about Jolie again or else... angry

    No worries.
I'm always thoroughly amused when I'm on the phone to Bangalore or Malaysia, and they try and make sense out of my name. The best phonetic version I've heard was "Martee-jinn"! biggrin

Any girl liking film music obviously has great trouble adapting to a healthy and accepted social environment.
(unlike men who like film music who obviously are all just lovable eccentrics)
