    Today ( Sunday night ) I obliterated the ghost of my abysmal failure last week in the pool contest by annihilating all competition and walking away with £50.

    Well, it went OK, I guess. We met up in a local pub first and chatted for an hour. Conversation went smoothly. No awkward moments. The film was good, too, although I should perhaps have used a certain "uncomfortable" scene towards the end (when she cringed and put her hands in front of her eyes) to make a "move". All I did was to put my hand on her shoulder and ask "Are you OK?" with a little smile on my face, and then added "well, it was YOU who selected the movie!". smile

    The only problem is that what I'm left with is an uncertainty if this was a date or just a meeting of "potential" friends (we've just met at the occasional party before). I need more time to find out. She DOES have several male friends, after all.

    But she's insanely beautiful, that's for sure (she's even worked as a model quite a few times!). Guys turned to look at her everywhere we went. slant
    I am extremely serious.

  30. Thanks to my awesome brother, my computer is once again running (we'll see if it will run smoothly enough), but a reboot can do miracles eh?

    For now the basics are on it, office to make sure I can be on the internet, media player so I can listen to music and Quicktime so I can download and watch trailers, the rest will be installed later on biggrin
