And I would agree with your logic at any other time. It's just after a heavy night the louder the better!!

Tonight, after twelve years playing in a rented stadium (the Olympic Stadium of Barcelona), the football team I´m supporter of (RCD Espanyol de Barcelona) inaugurates its new stadium, OUR NEW HOME!!
There will be activities outside the stadium all afternoon, an opening ceremony and then, at 9PM, a match Vs Liverpool FC.
Historic day for all the RCD Espanyol family, and very moving personally, as my uncle, an all time supporter of this team, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly a few months ago and won´t be there. Hope he can see it from wherever he is.Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

You Catalans are crazy when it comes to stadiums, they are massive! How many seats are there in this one? Where is it located? Have fun!Kazoo -

I had a great quiet evening for myself yesterday, a long time ago (during the weekend that is). I received two really good cd's this week, from Gregg Nestor. Mentioned elsewhere, these are the two releases with film music arranged for acoustic guitar, a Rosza one and one with Golden/Silver Age music. I had a few listens to You Must Remember this Too, and my oh my, what a fine listen.
I took a book, put a nice chair in the garden, and put this cd in as a background listen. Perfect!Kazoo -

I visited both stadiums
Camp Nou is absolutely breathaking, an absolute must for people who dig stadiums, but I visited the stadium of Espanyol when it was still being modified, it sure looks amazing now

I agree. Camp Nou is awesome. I was there last February and saw Barcelona vs. Osasuna, I think. However, an even bigger stadium experience was when I visited Maracana in Rio de Janeiro. Now THAT's a stadium!I am extremely serious. -

40.000 seats! It is located very near Barcelona.
The opening ceremony has been great: really moving, lots of memories from the past and thoughts for those that are not with us anymore, the stadium is AWESOME and we´ve won Liverpool FC (3-0)

Hollywood finally, finally, finally sued a Bollywood producer for ripping off their film.

I'll be entering the pop quiz on this beautiful, warm summers evening and my oldest and best friend is joining me ( we don't get to see one another as much as we'd like due to so many varied commitments ), he has better popular music knowledge than I so with the rest of the team I have high hopes tonight. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

We came 3rd but only lost out on 1st place by three points which shows how close it was at the top. It didn't really matter in the end because it was such an enjoyable night out

Went to the cricket today - Gloucestershire vs Somerset in a 40-over game. As always happens when I go to the cricket, it was improbably hot and sunny (great!) and my local team (Gloucestershire) got hammered. -

A classy player! England could use someone like him for the fifth Ashes test. -

I am slowly preparing for a new script to be written soon, right now I am looking for plot and structure and defining the characters. It is inspired by the life of a real person going through a similar situation and I talked to that person today about my idea. She gave me enthusiastic thumbs up and told me she's got a lot of faith in me. This means a lot to me and definitely made my day

I had three pitchers of Southern Comfort w. lemonade (and limes!) last night, a Kopparberg and three shots of vodka...and I feel fine...?!
Either I've slept through the hangover or it hasn't arrived yet...and I'm going swimming later. -

Perhaps it's yet to come. Mind you, you're annoyingly young, so maybe you got away with it. -

It is the reason why I am listening to Japanese scores. My friend is from Hawaii and goes through a lot of trouble, because she is half-Japanese, half-white. The trouble is social - she is not enough Japanese for the Japanese community (the biggest minority in that state, I am not saying island, because the state of Hawaii comprises of at least four islands, Oahu, Maui, Hawaii and so on) and not enough white for the white community.
Right now I am looking for a plotline, I have the name for the character, I have the place where she lives (Hilo, on the island of Hawai'i) and I am still looking for a plotline which will convey the cultural issue at hand - Japanese, or for that matter Far Eastern culture, is largely misunderstood by the West - a completely different value system, a completely different attitude for certain ceremonies, even specific NAMES for generations living in the United States - immigrants are called Issei (ichi sei - first generation), their children - nisei (ni sei), their grandchildren sansei (san sei) and their grandgrandchildren yonsei (yon sei). I am still yet to decide whether she is sansei or yonsei, since I know Reiko's family (the character's name is Reiko Johnson, not sure about the last name yet, I guess it'll stay for the first draft at least) fell victim to FDR's Executive Order 9006 (internment camps, that is).
Wish me luck, I got a lot of love and thumbs up from my friend to write. She told me she knows I will be respectable for all cultures, since she has a lot of faith to me and writing it is fine with her. I was really worried about how she would take the idea of writing about her story, but she approved of it and this makes me want to write it even more

Thanks, I think I might find the plot soon. And I know I will include some dialogue in Japanese (I don't know the language, but writers have the benefit of using parentheses
like REIKO (in Japanese).... ).http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Well, I've certainly gleaned from your postings that you're fond of the parenthesis too! Your post about your project above is just such an example. I've been known to do that a lot myself, in fact, but I try to cut back when I can. It often disrupts the reading flow if over-used.I am extremely serious. -

In my master thesis I hardly used parentheses. I try not to overuse them in script-writing.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -
