Missed it....any good?
A couple of hilarious moments, most notably when Vic revealed his tattoo to the gorgeous Christine Bleakley, who later had to balance in a vibrating time machine with a tray of glasses in one hand, a tray of snacks in the other, and a pork pie on her head - her prize for not dropping any of them was a cassette tape of reggae music. -

I used to love Shooting Stars though it seemed to get tired towards the end of it's first run. I'll try and catch the repeat. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

...but what a pleasure to see Marcus Trescothick play in the flesh for the first time. Great batsman - how England have missed him since his stress-related retirement.
Absolutely.

Details were very sketchy. International cricket teams go touring abroad and are often away from months at a time (for instance, England will play home games during the Northern Hemisphere's summer and then tour a Southern Hempishere cricket-playing nation, like India or Australia, during our winter) and I don't think he liked that at all. -

My project is slowly developing. I am close to have a plot for it and the cultural research is also going very well. The girl who inspired it is very helpful and told me a lot of stuff that I can use and I thanked her for that a lot already.
I did that in private conversation, but I want to do it here as well. Timmer told me that this project seems like a cultural minefield, but I have help with disarming it. My "bomb squad" on this project is a member of this board - Miya. I want to thank her a lot for her help with cultural information and letting me know so much about Japanese culture. Miya-chan, domo arigato gozaimasu. I really appreciate your help.
This and many little signals that happened in my life in last few days, especially on Thursday gives me big confidence about the project and the warmth this one was accepted with on this very board is also very inspiring.
A big thank you to all of you

What's Made Your Day:
Trying to explain the theory of general relativity to my flatmate of whom reads a lot of fantasy novels. Hopefully I'll have encouraged him to incorporate more science into his own novel he's working on. ("Now with added science.")
Being completely off-one's-face doesn't help one's explanatory skills. Imagine trying to explain general relativity at 2 in the morning to a complete novice while fueled by at least 8 double vodkas. I wouldn't advise it. -

Reminds me of the room full of thick white smoke scenery, all being already high, light rock or reggae playing in the background and complete with the "duuuuuuuuuudddeeeeeee ever wondered why (...) ?" or "duuuuuudddeeeeeee isn't amazing that. (...)...........?" conversations

My dad won tickets to the Arsenal vs. Fulham game tomorrow that would normally be £275!
A two course meal, executive seats and complimentary drinks! I don't have the slightest bit of interest in football, but I'm not missing this! -
