To tide you over, a quick challenge, piggybacking on your own:
It wasn't Kirk Douglas who gave the shortest Oscar acceptance speech.
In fact it was Sir John Mills, for his role in Ryan's Daughter.
Playing a mute in the film, he just accepted the oscar, smiled, gave a small bow and walked off.

Trick question! Obviously they're ALL real!
Doyuthinkesaurus
Extremely adept at hide-and-seek.
In fact, there may still be some alive today, but we simply can't find them!
Giganotosaurus
A.k.a. Extremely Not A Saurus, which means it's everything but a dinsoaur, i.e. all of entropy without the dinosaur (ALL -/- "dinosaur"). You, me, the ship, the rock....
Quadrupleceratops
Always traveled in packs of four to be able to play Bridge at a moment's notice.
Thorhagasaurus
Very wary of experiencing time in the proper order, hence refused to die out, insisting it is still in the process of being born after having fallen in love, claiming that that makes for a better experience.
Tripodosaurus
Specific species indigenous to Mars.
Well, I HAVE heard that the Thorhagasaurus did indeed FEEL like a dinosaur when it passed 30.
But I'll have to go with the Giga-thing as the real dinosaur.I am extremely serious. -

Well, 48 hours is "mere" ...on a geological scale, at least...
Ryan's Daughter is David Lean's 1970 film which tells the story of an Irish girl who has an affair with a British soldier during World War I, despite opposition from her nationalist neighbours.
For his role as the village idiot — a complete departure from his usual style — Mills won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. For his Oscar acceptance speech, he bowed without saying a word, making this the shortest acceptance speech on record.
So it's very TRUE, and what a nice little stunt from Sir John.
He died just two and a half years ago, at age 97(!), having had cameos in British TV films and series right up until the moment he died, even though his eyesight had gone for five years by then.'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

America had long held the record for the worlds tallest building, at one time The Empire State Building ( 381 mts or 1,250 ft ), followed by The World Trade Center ( RIP ) ( 417 mts or 1,368 ft ) and then The Sears Tower in Chicago ( 442 mts or 1,451 ft ), however, since 1998 the Sears Tower has been eclipsed by taller buildings, none of which are in America and now making Sears only the 5th highest building on the planet.
TRUE or FALSE ?
