You know good and well that Powell is NOT Djawadi. And there have been a lot of excellent rock influenced film scores out there. Let's see where this one goes. And by the description of it being a western we might end up with something like American Outlaws (which was actually surprisingly good) or Young Guns II.

D worried about a horror/western John Powell score with Megan Fox? You're kidding right? This could be awesome!

Chris Young's Ghost Rider actually sprung to mind. -

Well yeah, but that weren't made with a metal band. Don't get me wrong, i love metal and i love rock influences in film music when done correctly; this, however seems too risky to me. Anyway, we'll see.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Maybe they are just performers and not contributing any original music themselves. OR they are supplying a song and Powell is assisting them with it.
Who knows... let's wait a see. But I always look forward to another John Powell project!

It's a Powell project that isn't an animation. Freakin'. Finally.

According to Variety, Peter Berg, for whom Powell scored his last movie, is makign a film based on the boardgame Battleship.
He is also making: "Hancock 2" and "Dune" (another Dune? Shoot me now)The views and opinions of Ford A. Thaxton are his own and do not necessarily reflect the ones of ANYONE else. -

I didn't associate Peter Berg with John Powell when I heard about Berg potentially doing Dune. But a Dune score by Powell sounds like a FABULOUS idea!!I love you all. Never change. Well, unless you want to! -
