I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or what, but I would say absolutely not! I find Moms to be more along the lines of Horton in quality, simply with a less interesting theme and replacing the quirky instruments with quirky-spacey-instruments.
I love you all. Never change. Well, unless you want to!

I enjoyed it more than Dragon myself, but mostly I was just being provocative!

I will take how well devoloped and presented are the main themes in Panda 1 and I will take how good the action stuff is in Panda 2 and I will make my Kung Fu Panda 1.5 album.

but I guess this one is like all the sequel scores are: richer and more complex. It's the empire strikes back of Kung FU panda saga tongue

It's like the first Kung Fu Panda score but with far more energic and heroic action music and with less coherency in the "epic" stuff.

Mard needs moms is well composed but an average powell score. HTTYD is AMAZING...but it depends in the mood you are for such a loud score.

    John Powell's next score...
  1. Is it true he's scoring Seth MacFarlane's "Ted"?
The views and opinions of Ford A. Thaxton are his own and do not necessarily reflect the ones of ANYONE else.

Not a clue. First I've heard of it.
  2. Yeah, me, too as a couple days ago. Hopefully it is nothing more than a rumor.

Hopefully it's not a rumor. Sounds right up his alley.

I wonder if he's going to use another 600 people chorus like in the first score.

Is he really doing nothing other than animated sequels for the next couple of years? sleep
  4. He's supposed to be scoring -- I've found no official confirmation -- these:

    "Ted"
    "Rise of the Guardians"

I hope we can add "Superman" to the list. He needs to score more live action features.
