    Extra scenes in the DVD version of Redemption:

    - A conversation between Jack and Benton on why Benton left the special forces.
    - A standoff between Tom Lennox and Colm Ferore (President's husband) which is kinda neat.
    - On the bus, Jack stitches up the wound on his forehead.
    - Rather than simply running away from the helicopter, Jack actually takes it out with the M1.
    - It is revealed that Cononel Dubaku survives the mine explosion. In a really cheesy scene you see him lying there only for him to open his eye. I hope he never comes back to the show.
    - The President of Sangala also takes off in a chopper from the Embassy.
    - Full end credits (that last for about 5 minutes)

    They also removed the clock for the beginning/end of ad-breaks so it plays as one long movie. Total running time is just under an hour 40. wink

    I don´t understand why did they edited this scene in the final version. It would have added more interest in Carlyle´s character.

    The answer is time. All the extra scenes were good apart from the cheesy "Ah ha! I AM alive and will get my revenge!!" type thing with the Colonel.

    To all the Dutchies & Belgians, I recommend getting the 2-disc UK DVD. It appears we're missing out again on the DVD release over here. Plus surprisingly the UK DVD even has Dutch subtitles.

    Curious we are all looking forward to having fun with Bauer when Bauer is everything but fun. I mean such a tortured (both physically and mentally), dark and bitter character, and we are anxious to actually have fun with him dizzy spin
