  5. I wanted to share this video with you guys.

    It's a real recording of a woman called "Florence Foster Jenkins"
    . She was insanely rich and therefore was able to rent Carnegie Hall and perform there while forcing people who worked for her, friends etc to come and listen to it.
    She sang the most famous aria's etc but incredibilly out of key.

    This music (if you can call it that) is still available on CD under the title track 'The glory of the human voice?!'

    Listen to this at your own risk, and I might suggest some earplugs.

    Are you sure it was Zarathustra they were trying to perform. At times it sounded like some atonal modern piece... LOL.

    Now I can only imagine what the combination of Foster Jenkins and that school band would sound like.

    As pointed out in another thread, that's not a high scool band, but a famous art project from the 70's, assembling people who have never played any instruments to perform the piece.
