Btw, i LOVE the new way for new messages notification.
The exclamation marks? They're too big and in your face. I prefered the pages.
I agree!
Could you reduce the size a bit? Also, now that there's more separation between threads, one has to scroll much more. I kind of prefer the earlier layout. -
- CommentTimeMar 23rd 2008
Hmmm, the exclamation mark is smaller then the 'new page'-icon.
i'll try something this evening.Kazoo -

I think it's because they're the blue colour, they stand out too much. Perhaps if they were a tone of grey... -

Or... orange? I miss the orange! Boohoohoo
Don't take it personally Bregt, you know I don't like changes. Yes, that means I must be the only one who prefers the old design!
Or, maybe some orange is still visible if I don't use IE? -

When was it orange?
Yay, and the start new discussion button is now fully rounded! Great success!! -

The unread posts mark wasn't orange, it's just that the old design was baby blue & orange and I liked that!

Perhaps I need to change the red from the front page, and the 'start a new discussion button' into orange?Kazoo -

Nah, it would stand out too much. Maybe change the roll over colour to it though.
Btw, did the lines under the menu items come back because IE didn't like the rounded blocks? -

That's only visible in IE6, all good browsers have the rounded rectangle.Kazoo -

Bregt, perhaps I'm wrong, but did you say the blue and white lines at the top of the page were going to have a purpose? They look nice, but I'm intrigued! -

It is my sad duty to report a IE victory over Opera. The "Start A New Thread" button is fully rounded on IE but on opera the bottom is straight. -
- CommentTimeMar 25th 2008
I noticed yesterday, but I've not yet found why.
And what a cool button it is when fully rounded!Kazoo -
- CommentTimeMar 25th 2008
I use Opera and the button is fully rounded! -
- CommentTimeMar 25th 2008
I've now tried with Opera 9.26 and the button is only rounded in the upper left and right corner. It works with Opera 9.50. -

Lets call it a bug in Opera.Kazoo -

oh now its just a bug? If it was in IE it would been another sucky ass display of IE's inability to actually perform on a decent level!
But with Opera? its just a bug!

Opera is not evil, so bugs are by coincidence.
IE is evil, so bugs are actually placed there with one sole purpose, take the web and make it retarded.Kazoo -

Indeed, seriously; i can wholly sympathize with someone who spends shitloads of hours and resources to make a very nice looking and well-functioning website for every browser out there except I.E!! Can you imagine that for a moment? It's easy to go pro I.E. for no reason when you're just using it for standard surfing and to check your e-mails but for a minute there, just think of the people actually WORKING in the damn net with the damn thing!Love Maintitles. Oh I understand Bregt all too clear, and I seriously know that he does the best he can to make this site look brilliant in all servers. Considering I get bugs whenever I install IE 7 means that I too know what Bregt is going through.waaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! Where's my nut? arrrghhhhhhh -

But lets quit that discussion now.
It's part of my hobby as webdesigner. Sometimes it's fun, to find the right trick.
I'm just a bit too energetic about it sometimes.Kazoo -
