Perhaps yes. We have the amount on the new statistics page as well, in the middle of that page.

I would -if you can- limit the level of embedded quotes.
For example (just the way I'm envisioning this working): if you quote a third level (or even the second that the actual message isn't visible.
E.g. rather than

Ah YES! The quoting, and getting that nasty bug fixed when somebody forgets to close a tag.
Some people want more smileys apparently, so I thought more was better. The facepalm for example. What else?
PM, as Joep mentioned, a GMail like structuring would be great. This means group all emails together of the same 'discussion' (as in original post and its replies, like if a series of emails is like a discussion).Kazoo -

Well, as long as we're at it, I want the
smiley replaced.
It's the most butt-ugly dino I've ever seen.
And I would really appreciate a little corner where you explain exactly WHAT you were on...I mean what you we're thinking when you chose to implement certain smileys.

I do think that some of the smileys could be tossed though we'd have to vote on it I think.

I can understand some people get annoyed by excessive use. I might implant something in their brain that makes it fun for them to, or implement something that they can choose whether to parse the smiley codes or not, having them displayed or not respectively.Kazoo -
