    Another nice day. Most of the time this is what its like. So far this winter it has been very dry.

    I'm with Bregt, I like my winters to be winter. It's incredibly mild here in UK.

    I'm going on a citytrip to Madrid in februari, with colleagues. Is there any snow then?

    As it is here. It is really low humidity and we got to 73 today. Hard to think of winter

    I still don't know what to think of it...

    It's comfortable that I can go outside without a coat for a little while. I hardly use the heater, only a bit of floor heating is enough. I have the door open several times a day for fresh air and we don't freeze.

    But still something feels wrong. Many people did not have the Christmas spirit because of the mild weather. It is like something is missing...

    We've had a really mild winter so far. Yesterday the temperature hit 77 and it has yet to rain. We're smoggy and around 50 this morning.

    It started off as usual, with lots of snow and temperatures down to -10 in November and early December, but then we got the hurricane crashing on the west coast and bringing wind, rain and mild weather throughout most of Eastern and Southern Norway.

    There's currently NO snow here in Oslo, and temperatures slightly above 0 degrees. It was 10 friggin' degrees on Christmas Eve!

    This is VERY unusual up here, but I'm not complaining. I don't like snow.
    I am extremely serious.

    It was on the news again last night, how weird the weather has been this year. The warmest spring, the wettest summer, summery autumn (I remember october 1st being a hot day, people went to the beach) and now winter is warm as well.

    Perhaps winter is late too, like autumn. It could start freezing and snowing in february?

    February is always snow-filled in Norway, although March is usually the heaviest in terms of snowfall. In fact, we can have snow in urban areas as late as April and May! Will be interesting to see how it turns out this year (or rather next).

    I had breakfast outside on the balcony the other day. It was 15 C and sunny here in Hampton. That's practically summer.

    I normally live in Copenhagen, but whenever I have a chance to get away I visit my gf here in England. She has a balcony overlooking the Thames, so it's a rather luxurious place to come for a poor student such as myself.

    I live a 10 minute walk from Hampton Court Palace. Never been inside the place though.

    I went once when I was very young with my parents, I remember a huge painting of Salome being presented with the head of John The Baptist.....it's always the horrific stuff that stays in your memory wink
