- Comment Fair enough. I'm surprised he picked one review to single out among all the anti-Zimmer vitriol that's out there on the internet. James, you should feel honored!

- Comment Are we sure it was Zimmer himself who wrote that post? Most of those social networking pages are run by fans or the artist's representation, and the tone of it sounded more like a kid sticking up for a bullied friend than a historically successful Hollywood composer. Maybe it really is as simple ...

- Comment This is all making me very hungry (or thirsty, as you will...) We spent Christmas at home again this year, so it was just myself, my wife, our daughter and our lazy dog. What was new this year was that we found other like-minded neighbors were staying in town too, so we planned a neighborhood ...

- Comment Just listened to the trailer again. Have to admit it's not MAN ON FIRE, but neither do I think it's GLADIATOR. Not even a different arrangement. It sounds similar to both but perhaps taken from another Gerrard album or score cue altogether.

- Comment I'm actually bummed they've preserved the album cues ("The Finals" especially could use some judicious editing, especially with the double dipping of the main title cue), but I'm happy the score is more or less being presented as in the film. - Comment I am an avowed fan of ROAD HOUSE (the movie) and I just wasn't interested in the score album. It's fine and it does a competent enough job in the movie, but there's really nothing in there to grab you otherwise. - Comment It's obviously not quite the same tone as NIGHTWING or LIFEFORCE, but it's certainly not a kiddie score and it uses some of the same elements.
