- Comment
Southall wrote The only place I've found the CD is at this Australian website: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/music/browse/classical-soundtrack/babe-orchestral-soundtrack-2015-score/730259/
That's where I got mine. Walked in yesterday and picked it up. So, you can order it from ...

- Comment NP: Babe - Nigel Westlake This is a fantastic new recording of the complete score celebrating the 20th anniversary of the film. In Australia the movie had a "live concert set to film" event in Melbourne and the score has had minor changes in orchestration and tempo. So it sounds ...

- Comment Oh yeah, for sure Horner's score makes the film far more enjoyable than it would've been had someone else scored it. And despite its obvious flaws the film is quite a fun ride at times. The score is so grand and epic in scope. More so than the film it was written for.

- Comment Watched Krull on Blu-ray with a couple of friends in honor of Horner. It's certainly not the best film Horner had ever scored but it certainly is (arguably) one of his finest scores. I love his early scores. And this is just wonderful! So fun and enthusiastically written and performed. Yet ...

- Comment It's the action/adventurous cues that I love in this score. The swirling, undulating strings are so brilliantly effective! Awesome scoring. Just awesome!

- Comment
Steven wrote It messed you up at 16!? Crikey. I probably watched this when I was half that age! As long as it isn't too psychological, which Doom isn't, I think gore and violence is fine for kids.
Had I been much younger it might have had way less impact on me. But at ...

- Comment Just saw Tomorrowland today. Went in with low-ish expectations and left having enjoyed the past two hours. It's preachy, but hell, why not! And Giacchino's fun score works very well on the most part. Just on Temple of Doom, I think it has some truly great scenes and moments and ...

- Comment I have some "issues" with it for sure. But overall I'm enjoying it. There's some very cool stuff going on in places. I certainly don't feel it's a "miss" for Giacchino. Just not quite up there with his other two 2015 mega-score outputs.

- Comment
Captain Future wrote Yeah. But before that happens collecting is fun. OK, that has to do with having grown up with LPs. Already as a child I loved big LP collections. It has become irrational of course. I get a CD, I rip a digital copy, put it away in a box - I don't even put them on ...

- Comment No don't stop! It's always fun and educational to read where "honest and real" science/space movies aren't always on the mark. Good when they try though. I have mixed views of this film. Love some of the concepts, visuals and music. I am certainly no fan of that robot(s) that's for sure. ...

- Comment NP: Duel - Billy Goldenberg Gritty 70s scoring that effectively conjures the images of the Spielberg classic to the point of almost smelling the fuel, oil and grease of the old truck! I've always liked the nods to Herrmann's Psycho too. Well, the truck driver is obviously that, right?!
