Has anybody got Made in Dagenham yet? Last time I checked, it was only available in the UK for download. I wanna buy this, but I can't.

At £7.50 for 20 minutes of music it's quite a lot of money for what you get.

  3. I've no idea. I didn't like the clips. So I know I don't like about 4 minutes of it. So that's quite a significant portion!

    DAVID ARNOLD Talks BOND 23

    Quoting from: http://screenrant.com/james-bond-23-dan … 1/?_r=true

Rumors that a new James Bond will arrive by 2012 popped up last month and now someone closer to the project has revealed that work has recommenced on 007′s 23rd big screen venture – though its theatrical release date remains very much up in the air.

Composer David Arnold sat down for a chat with Film Music Magazine and had the following insight to offer concerning the next James Bond flick:

“I haven’t thought about it yet. We only just got the news that we’re back on. But ‘there’s many a slip twixt cup and lip’ so I will keep quiet until I get a script and then start writing ideas.. All I can say is that I’m looking forward to a great script for it, alongside every other Bond fan in the world!”

  4. Mendes IS directing the movie. He's still on a contract and Kate Winslet just confirmed he's doing it.

Saw The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader today. Enjoyed it very much!
Arnold's score is good. But not truly "great" sadly. I doubt I'll get it.

    David Arnold scoring ‘Paul’

David Arnold is currently recording the score for the upcoming sci-fi comedy Paul. In the movie, two British comic-book geeks traveling across the U.S. encounter an alien outside Area 51

Haha. I know that was a joke. Obviously Arnold isn't Simon Pegg's couple.

Thanks JOn; i've yet not found the time to properly listen to this score, but the reviews available, esp. yours which is extensive, are a great guide for listening later on. I am not a fan of the movies at all and i properly won't watch it, but looking forward to some pleasant cues on album.

  10. It's certainly more of a positive comment compared with a lot of what's being said on the 'boards.

Yeah... there are a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews being thrown around while I wouldn't give it anymore than 3 1/2.

Indeed. Extremely surprised by how positive the reviews are. I listened to it a LOT before writing mine and evidently don't see in it what others do.

The quick and dirty of this album: solid opening 10 cues, mediocre to below average and rather uninteresting middle section. Album ends with a bang... but for some reason is doesn't sound all that fresh.
