Isn't that a Bee Gees song?
It's just your booze talking
You're telling me lies, yeah
booze talking
you wear a disguise
can't remember how the rest goes

I'm playing in a pool competition tomorrow night so this evening I'll take it easy and either listen to music or watch a film.
Anyone going out on the tiles tonight? On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Honestly, like I've said before, we always assume this unless stated otherwise.

I'm not doing anything tonight for numerous reasons. First thing is that I don't go out much at all, actually. Tonight is also the day of the funeral of my professor, so after it I decided to play the day quiet. I need to think things out.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

I've always wondered, Tim, how is it like to go out for pool and especially beer on a Sunday, when you have a work day tomorrow?I am extremely serious. -

I very rarely go mad on a Sunday.
Three pints tonight was enough and I won too

As quite often on Sundays, today I went off to karaoke. No alcohol, because my medication doesn't allow it, but I sure had funhttp://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Yes, I did.
Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal, Metallica - Nothing Else Matters.
I can't sing, I really can't. But in a karaoke club it's allowed to suck. Of course I had a REAL catastrophe once, when I tried to sing Who Wants To Live Forever. Whoever heard it in my version surely doesn't want to live anymore.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Well, Queen is not for beginners, that's for sure!
I also had my "karaoke phase" a couple of years ago. Campy as hell, but great fun.

I only ever did a karaoke number once, it was Abba's Dancing Queen ( yeah, yeah, I know
), I was exceptionally drunk and was dragged up on stage by three young ladies which was good because then my voice could be lost amongst the cacophony.
I wouldn't dream of going solo unless you really REALLY wanted your favourite song destroyed forever. I think I could probably get away with something 'shouty', The Sex Pistols 'God Save The Queen' or something like that!?

I have those goddamn health issues of mine, but I still have two choices tonight if I'm up for it:
1. A former (female) colleague from the institute of Media Studies turns 30 and has a big party downtown, and she's renting the same locale that I celebrated MY own 30th birthday (so I know it's a cool place). Not a terribly close colleague, but there will be lots of good-looking chicks there. Need to buy a present, though. Pay for beer at the bar.
2. An acquaintance of mine has this "roof party" every year, with some 50-60 guests. Lots of girls there too and probably NO academics, but they're all the more fit, physically. No present needed. I can bring my own beer.
What would you go for?

Tough choice!? I sort of lean more to the roof top party, this could depend on weather though!?
I'm off out to the countryside tonight for a friends party, overnight camping, BBQ's, beer and a few bands too, I know quite a few of the people who are going and it should be great fun.On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Now THAT would be my choice, if I had it. Sounds like a whole "package".I am extremely serious. -

It's in great surroundings too, it's very close to Avebury stone circle ( Stonehenge is probably less than half an hour away ) and Silbury Hill with lots of ancient burial mounds. Wiltshire is a gorgeous part of the country. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Really tough choice indeed. After reading option 1 I had no doubt, but option 2 is really appealing too! If I were you, I´d flip a coin. The fact that there´s gonna be (good looking) chicks in both options makes this choice very difficult. I wouldn´t like to be in your position
Keep us posted.
Tonight I´m gonna go to a friend´s home to watch a football match (the league kicks off today in Spain), have dinner and then probably go to a pool and beer session

We should have left a bit earliar....it's not easy putting up a tent in the dark
Anyway, it was a brilliant night, the BBQ was fantastic caterring for meat eaters and vegetarians, a marquee was put up with a DJ set and live band playing rock & roll covers ( very professional they were too ) and an incredible amount and variety of alcohol was laid on for guests of which I would estimate there was maybe a hundred of us. I stayed up until about 5.00 AM sat around a large campfire chatting to old and new faces.
Brilliant night
Oh yeah, fantastically clear sky ( unlike in the city ) and I even saw a few shooting stars. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

He, he...I actually went to alternative 1, mostly because there were so many aquaintances there that I hadn't seen in a long time (that also included several good-looking females, although not too many single!). It was a pleasant enough time, but I DO wonder how things would have turned out if I'd gone for door nr. 2.
